Quoting a guaranteed decision date to a tour customer
How the guarantee window is computed, what to promise and how to handle a missed date with the customer.

The rule
A decision date you quote becomes a promise your customer plans flights around. vistolane computes it from the authority's published processing window, the earliest bookable appointment and a buffer for courier or collection, and shows it before payment. Quote that date, not the consulate's best case.
If the authority misses the date for a reason on vistolane's side, the filing fee is refunded and the miss is logged publicly. The government fee is never refundable, and a refusal is not a missed date.
What the consulate or authority actually counts
- Published processing time for the route and the country of application
- First available biometrics or interview slot, not the average
- Courier or collection time back to the traveller
- Public holidays at the consulate and in the applicant's country
Where it goes wrong
- Quoting the consulate's minimum ('15 days') as if it were the maximum
- Ignoring that the window starts at biometrics, not at submission
- Booking non-refundable flights before the decision date
- Promising a date for an embassy visa before the interview slot is confirmed
How vistolane for business handles it
The price card on every destination page shows 'Guaranteed by <date, time>' and the days-faster figure for each attention plan. Your agency quotes that line to the customer and the same date appears on their portal and your board, so nobody argues about what was promised.
Escalation moves a traveller to the front of the queue when a date is at risk, and the on-time log shows customers your track record.
